Team Leader

E1 Shift, Zone 2

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 6:50am to 7:00pm

 The Team Leader will report to the Zone Supervisor and perform duties as assigned that include: meeting the daily manufacturing schedule, helping associates with specific duties, solving problems, and communicating daily manufacturing information to the production teams.  The team leader needs to be familiar with machinery and equipment; able to trouble-shoot as necessary and as directed.  Solid verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent follow through are all required skills for this position.  Previous experience in a GMP environment and Lean manufacturing would be a plus.

Chemist

We are seeking a Chemist to join our Formulation group. The successful candidate must work well with minimum supervision in the development and evaluation of skincare formulations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Has solid working knowledge of raw ingredients to analyze and formulate a wide variety of products
  • Has a passion to explore and innovate with novel raw materials, processing techniques and/or formulations in creative, non-conventional approaches into new products leveraging current consumer insights and needs
  • Formulate and facilitate development of innovative skin care products, product improvements, and develop new formulas based on current technology
  • Maintain laboratory compliance (GLP)
  • Develop and maintain SOP
  • Identify new/improved formulation technologies and implement them to meet project needs.
  • Interact with the team members at Autumn Harp and provide technical support via oral, presentation and written venues
  • Proactively scan and research new concepts, materials, technical opportunities and partnerships
  • Monitor product stability for formulas
  • Responsible to constantly seek improved ways and methods to better serve customers, external and internal

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of BA or BS in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent science
  • 1-3 years of previous (chemist) formulation experience
  • Knowledge of chemistry, skin biology, raw materials and emulsion technology are required
  • Must have strong problem solving, interpersonal, teamwork, project management and communication skills (oral & written)
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to conceptualize and apply innovative solutions
  • Must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative. Must be flexible, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
  • Requires a detail oriented individual who can manage and organize data on numerous projects. Able to multi-task and problem solve, while maintaining a clear sense of priorities and focus.
  • Works well within team environment
  • Requires computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
Warehouse/Inventory Lead

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position serves as the lead role to oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, storing and issuing of supplies and inventory, maintaining receiving and inventory control records and preparing related reports.  This position also verifies on-hand inventory while investigating inventory issues or discrepancies for the organization. 

Essential job functions and qualifications:

  • Plans and coordinates work, trains, motivates and monitors performance of warehouse and warehouse associates.
  • Ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move material to and from storage configurations.
  • Effectively oversees the daily routines of the assigned crew members.
  • Monitors the unloading of all materials into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received.
  • Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
  • Oversees the supplying of materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly and sub-assembly
  • Ensures shipments and documentation for UPS, FedEx and other carriers’ software or forms: including international shipments.
  • Oversees the activities of shipping Associates to ensure accuracy on prepared delivery documents, packing lists, shipping documents and invoices.
  • Ensures shipments and documentation for UPS, FedEx and other carriers’ software or forms: including international shipments.
  • Tracks exceptions between the shipping log and delivery, conforms with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions adheres to all regulations and guidelines contained in the Global Management System.

Required and preferred skills:

  • Experience working in inventory systems and warehouses, with proficiency in MRP and  Microsoft Office
  • Must have the ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck and other equipment utilized in the warehouse.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Manufacturing experience is helpful along with the ability to prioritize multiple needs.
Production Operator

E3 – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 6:50pm to 7am

E4 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6:50pm to 7am

Quality-minded, dependable individuals are needed to join our talented production team.  Our ideal candidates must be reliable, honest and respectful; and possess sound reading and math skills. Prior experience in manufacturing and mechanical aptitude, a plus.  Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position; which includes the ability to lift 30 lbs or more; able to stand and walk for 12hrs/day; able to perform exacting tasks by hand. 

Mechanical Operator

Our Mechanical Operators work as line operators and also assist mechanics with setups, changeovers and preventative maintenance as assigned. Our ideal candidate is either a mechanic who is willing to work on the lines or a line operator who has strong mechanical inclination. Must be able to perform exacting tasks by hand; lift 40-50 lb loads; stand and walk for 12 hrs/day; and have solid reading, math and computer skills.
