Office and HR Coordinator

The Office and HR Coordinator reports to the HR Manager and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative and organizational tasks within our organization. This position will play a dual role, dedicating time between both office coordination and Senior Leadership support. Our ideal candidate is professional, honest, respectful, reliable, patient, approachable and able to work well within a talented and diverse work family.  The Office and HR Coordinator must have the ability to maintain confidentiality, be detail-oriented and most importantly, have a positive attitude.

Front Office:

  • Coordinates day-to-day office operations, including supply inventory, equipment maintenance (copiers etc.), and specific vendor relationships
  • Coordinates office and conference room / meeting space logistics and ensures a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for office related inquiries and issues
  • Greeting our visitors in the front office
  • Answering the phone and routing incoming calls
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including distributing mail to the appropriate recipients

Human Resources:

  • Assist with the recruitment processes, including prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, reference checking, responding to applicants and maintaining HR databases with accurate information.
  • Supports HR initiatives, such as employee engagement activities, and company events
    Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR communications such as company newsletters and event announcements
  • Manages the inventory of product seconds according to our seconds policy
  • Maintains records of multiple HR-related metrics such as employee onboarding progress and temporary labor hours worked

Office Support:

  • Administrative tasks for various departments
  • Support the account services team by placing food orders for and picking up customer lunches
  • Senior Leadership:
  • Track and manage expense reports for Senior Leadership, ensuring timely submission and accuracy
  • Create and edit presentations, reports, and other documents as needed
  • Coordinate communication and logistics for offsite meetings, retreats, and other events
  • Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership, including scheduling, and other duties as assigned

R&D Formulation Chemist

We are seeking a Chemist to join our Formulation Team in an environment with strong commitment to internal and external customer service.  The successful candidate will work well with minimum supervision to develop and evaluate skincare formulations.

• Up-to-date lab bench experience formulating new and innovative skin care products and product improvements
• Solid working knowledge of the raw materials used to formulate a wide variety of skin care products
• A passion for innovating with new and novel raw materials, formulation concepts and processing techniques. An Autumn Harp Chemist utilizes a creative, non-conventional approach to develop unique, quality products.
• Experience investigating and leveraging consumer insights, market trends and formulation technologies, applying them to development projects
• Strong, independent technical ability in a laboratory. Partnering with a process engineer, will be able to translate product formulations and their manufacturing processes to production scale.
• Experience setting up and monitoring formula and product stability. Responsible to collecting, recording and maintaining product data and stability history.
• A detail-oriented multi-tasker. Must be able to manage numerous projects in parallel. Can problem solve through challenges, putting focus where needed, while also forwarding other priorities.
• A flexible self-starter. The Chemist position requires a high level of individual initiative. They must be work well under pressure and pivot as needed when priorities change.
• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, in concept and in application
• Collaborative in the Autumn Harp team-oriented environment and culture, as well as with customers

• Minimum of BA or BS in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent science
• Previous formulation experience within a lab environment
• Knowledge of chemistry, skin biology, raw materials and emulsion technology are required
• Compliant with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Proficient with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership skills and experience mentoring others would be a plus

Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000/annually

Reconciler

The Reconciler position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and responsible for the accurate closure of records through the validation of inventory, problem solving discrepancies and preforming appropriate adjustments to reflect this analysis.  This role assists in the month-end closing procedure requiring Saturday coverage once/month.

  •  Accurately and efficiently complete the closure and partial closure of records.
  • Analyze and calculate inventory usage, returns, waste and produced as it pertains to records.
  • Problem solve quantity discrepancies through inventory validation.
  • Perform inventory and record adjustments upon supervisor approval.
  • Complete the movement of inventory through both scanning and manual entry.
  • Execute responsibilities according to daily and/or monthly deadlines.
  • Is flexible to the needs of the company.
  • Interface with Production, Finance, Warehouse, Quality and other departments.
  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation; and verify the accuracy of returned paperwork.
  • Adheres to all GMP and GDP specifications.
  • Maintains and adheres to all safety rules and reports safety issues.
  • Support Operational Excellence program by doing audits.
  • Maintains a positive, winning attitude and adheres to Autumn Harp’s Cultural Values
  • Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Maintenance Technician

Day Shift – Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:45AM to 7:00PM

Autumn Harp, a private label custom contract manufacture of cosmetic and personal care products has an opening for a skilled maintenance technician on our Maintenance and Engineering team.  

Maintenance Technicians work to ensure that all equipment is performing optimally.  Assists with setup and changeover of manufacturing lines.  Performs major and minor repairs as necessary to all manufacturing equipment.  Works as assigned on continuous improvement projects and to ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are met.  Works with computerized maintenance software to ensure equipment logs are maintains to satisfy Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.

  • Provide mechanical support service to operational changes resulting from setting up and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic equipment.
  • Observes operation of equipment, troubleshoots abnormalities, locating sources of problems, repairing defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, controlling downtime, and fabricating repair parts.
  • Assists in maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventories.
  • Works safely and supports safety across the organization.
  • Trains operators to recognize problems and issues with equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 years mechanical or machining experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems for automated production machinery and support equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical prints.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads up to 50 pounds.

Pay range - $26.00 - $31.00/hour

Material Handler

E2 Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:50am – 7:00pm

Reporting to the Material Handling Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for preparing, staging, and delivering materials to production while ensuring accuracy and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, works well independently and as part of a team, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic. The ability to operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) is required for this position.

This role requires the ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., as well as stand and walk for extended periods. The Material Handler may also assist on production lines as needed.

  • Accurately verify, stage, and deliver materials to production on schedule
  • Perform inventory transactions within the ERP system and keep jobs updated throughout the shift
  • Wrap, move, and transport pallets to designated locations
  • Communicate effectively with production and cross?functional teams
  • Operate in a safe, responsible manner and follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Assist production operations when required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
